20 To Attend Student Leader Camp In Singapore

Bandar Seri Begawan - Twenty students, aged 14 to 16, from different schools in Brunei-Muara were selected to participate in the Singapore-Brunei Student Leader Adventure Camp 200 from Nov 12-16, 2007.

The students will be accompanied by teachers, Hj Azrul Melda bin Hj Abu Bakar, Mohammad Danny bin Amin, Hjh Noor Zinatul Ashiqin binte Hj Ibrahim and Dyg Norsuzilawati binte Ahmad.
A ceremony was held for the parents of the students to sign an agreement for the students` participation in the camp.

The national flag was also handed over to the delegates by Mr Koh Hong Puah, Assistant Director Schools (Secondary), Ministry of Education at Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan.

The objective of the camp is to promote international understanding, collaboration and bonding between Singapore and Brunei pupils through cross-cultural learning and fostering friendship.

In Singapore, the students will be involved in activities such as team-building, dragon boating, outdoor cooking, nature walk, urban hike, guided tours as well as group reflection and interaction.
