Art Singapore 2007 fringe event brings visual art to the masses

Singapore - Witnessing the creation of art in real-time may help to spur greater interest in visual art.

That is why organisers of ArtSingapore 2007 partnered Ministry of Sound to bring art closer to the masses.

At an ArtSingapore 2007 fringe event, three award-winning artists created their works in public.

They were Arnewaty Abdul Shokor and Lim Poh Teck from Singapore as well as Japanese artist Ayako Rokkaku.

Using acrylic as a medium, they created their artworks in line with the theme "rhythm and grove".

All of them finished their pieces in under two hours.
