Stopping over in Singapore?

Singapore - Visitors transiting in Singapore don‘t necessarily have to miss out on the Lion City‘s fantastic shopping, unbelievable nightspots and diverse attractions.

Those with more than six hours in transit can enjoy the FREE City Shuttle which takes you right into the heart of Singapore where you can while away your time at Little India, Suntec City or Bugis.

Visitors can soak in the atmosphere of Little India while they shop at the myriad of gold and silk stores, have a hand henna painting, or even their fortune told by a parrot!

Suntec City is a shopping destination in its own right, where shopaholics can shop til their hearts‘ content, or simply enjoy a stroll around the feng shui inspired Fountain of Wealth. For a true Singapore “must do”, you can cross the street for a refreshing Singapore Sling at the world famous Raffles Hotel Long Bar.

The shuttle also stops along Bugis Street where visitors can haggle at the Bugis Night Markets, browse in Bugis Junction shopping centre and nearby shops or treat their tastebuds to traditional Singapore fare from the local hawker centre.

Transit passengers also receive a complimentary shower or snack and beverage upon returning from the city to refresh before their onward flight.

If flexibility is what you are after you can organise a Taxi Tourist Guide. Prices start from S$35 per hour with a minimum two hour booking. Your personalised guide can chauffer you to the hotspots including VivoCity – Singapore‘s largest shopping centre, or to cultural enclaves including Katong, Chinatown and Kampong Glam.

Those not keen on shopping can see the sights of Singapore in air-conditioned comfort onboard the FREE Singapore Tour bus, which provides an insight of the main city delights. Seats are on a first-come first-served basis and tours run throughout the day.
