Kuala Lumpur- Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who will visit Malaysia from Thursday, will be entertained to a special concert here on Friday, Malaysian Information Minister Zainuddin Maidin said here on Monday.

The "Comradeship Concert" would be performed by renowned artists from both countries through several segments which had been specially arranged, he said after attending the monthly assembly of the ministry staff.

"The concert not only demonstrates the spirit of comradeship between the two countries but it is also to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Malaysia-Indonesia relations.

"It is also to highlight the cultural ties between the two countries that cannot be separated," Malaysian national news agency Bernama quoted Zainuddin as saying.

Besides Susilo and his delegation, the concert would also be attended by Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, cabinet ministers as well as dignitaries from within and outside the country, Zainuddin said.
