Tutong School Marks N-Day

Tutong - Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Secondary School in Tutong Saturday morning marked Brunei‘s 24th National Day at the school‘s multi-purpose hall.

On hand to officiate the event was the guest of honour Hj Mahrub Hj Murni, Acting Director of Information.

Also present at the event were invited guests, teachers and students.

During the event, attendees saw various performances such as the singing of the national anthem and patriotic songs, gulingtangan presentation by the students, as well as viewing of a video clip of the 24th National Day gathering at Taman Sir Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien in the capital.

The event also saw 63 students appointed as this year‘s school prefects, as well as the presentation of prizes to eight Best Students of BGCE 0‘ Level 2007 and seven who excelled at the Lower School Evaluation or PMB.

The Information Department also organised a dialogue and exhibition on nationalism.
