Balinese artists to hold painting exhibition in Singapore

Denpasar - Balinese artist I Wayan Sujana Suklu will hold a solo painting exhibition in Singapore for two weeks in September.

"Some 15 paintings will be displayed in the international expo," I Wayan Sujana, a lecturer at the Denpasar-based Indonesian Arts Institute (ISI), said here on Wednesday.

The Balinese artist had made long preparations by creating special paintings on the environment for the upcoming exhibition.

He had previously organized similar painting exhibitions in Singapore successfully.

Sujana was one of ten Indonesian artists (including six Balinese), who had passed a selection for "The 3rd Beijing International Art Biennale 2008" in China.
