MABIMS meeting in Singapore

Bandar Seri Begawan - Three officers from Ministry of Religious Affairs left for Singapore yesterday to join the MABIMS Youth Meeting on July 25 - 28,

The delegation was led by Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, head of Imarah Section, Department of Mosque Affairs of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

MABIMS member nations Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, and Singapore will meet and present working papers related to issues on youths and adults.

The Brunei delegation will present a working paper on "Usaha-usaha inovatif dan kreatif negara anggota MABIMS untuk mendekati remaja dan belia Islam".

The meeting aims to further enhance co-operation and smoothen plans and implementation of the youth programme at the level of MABIMS member countries.

Member representatives will share and learn about efforts implemented by MABIMS members in dealing with social problem face by the youth and Muslim youths especially through a more innovative and creative approach.
