Bandar Seri Begawan - The Department of Museum recently hosted an appreciation reception in conjunction with the International Museum Day 2008.
The guest of honour at the event was Awg Bantong bin Antaran, acting director of the Department of Museum.
Also present were officers and staff under the Department of Museum.
The event was an appreciation gathering for those who were involved in the International Museum Day celebration in May this year, providing support and cooperation in making the celebration a success.
It was also held to foster closer ties among the department`s staff members.
The event also saw a prize presentation to winners of badminton tournament, netball and futsal.
In conjunction with this year`s International Museum Day, a number of activities has also been organised such as a sports tournament, a road show and an awareness programme on the wildlife act.
