Kuching - Sarawak‘s rich culture and arts has enriched Malaysia‘s cultural heritage, said Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
The Prime Minister said this had made the Land of the Hornbill very attractive to tourists.
“Although there are many different ethnic communities in Malaysia, we are not separated from each other.
“There is mutual respect among the different races and appreciation of each other‘s culture and traditions,” he said at the Gawai Dayak open house at the Indoor Stadium here last night.
Abdullah said national leaders were greatly appreciative of the
big support Sarawakians had given to the Barisan Nasional government.
