Bandar Seri Begawan - Al- Falaah School yesterday held an Al-Quran Memorisation, Oratorical and Trilingual quiz competition as part of the school‘s annual activity. The competition was held at Al-Falaah School at Taman Manggis Manis.
The competition was participated by students from Al-Falaah School and its branch in Jalan Ban 5. The competition was an opportunity for-the young students of the school to showcase their oratory skills and potential in the presence of their schoolteachers, schoolmates and parents who came to support them. The day-long event was divided into morning and afternoon sessions. The chief guest at the function was the school‘s principal Ustaz Saiyed Haamid Aal-Taaher, who also presented prizes to the winners.
Nurul Asyiqin bte Abdul Murad was adjudged as the winner in the Musabaqah Story-Telling for Pra-School (Bahasa Melayu) language and in second place was Nur Nazifa Wafiqah bte Abdul Rahman.
Meanwhile, Nur Syamimi bte Saffriana came first in the Lower Primary Category for her topic on ‘MuridMurid Tidak Digalakkan Tidur Lewat‘ (Children Should Not-Be Encouraged To Stay Up Late) and Siti Humairah bte-:Haji Md Hassan came second with her topic ‘Periciptaan Alam‘ (Creation of Nature).
For the Upper Primary Category, Abdul Halim bin Anuar emerged as the winner in his topic entitled ‘Dadah Musuh Negara‘ (Drugs are the Enemy of the Nation) while in second place was Farah bte Ahmad Kutubbudin for her topic on ‘Memupuk Minat Terhadap Pelajaran Sains Di Kalangan Para Pelajar‘ (Instilling the Love of Science as a Subject Among Students).
Meanwhile, the winner in the Musabaqah Trilingual quiz competition in the Arabic language was won by Mohd Isa bin Irwan while Mohd Nur Sa lehin Mirza bin Hj Mohd Taha came second.
The winner in the Musabaqah for Lower Primary Category (Arabic Language) was Mohd Jafnie bin Mohd Salahuddin followed by Ak Liyaqat Zahirul Haq bin Pg Hj Zulkarnain. The winner in Upper Primary Category was Aseeya bte Hj Hussain and in second place was Hasina bte Mohd Sholeh.
Other participants also received certificates of participation from the chief guest.
