Singapore - The National Heritage Board has launched its first children`s storybook featuring four of Singapore`s national museums.
The storybook, "Sasha visits the Museum", is the latest of a series chronicling the adventures of the author`s daughter as she visits various attractions in Singapore.
Author Shamini Flint`s daughter, Sasha, was the star at the launch.
The latest book aims to show young children and parents that museums are fun and contemporary spaces.
The book, which features museums like the Singapore Art Museum and the National Museum of Singapore, will allow young children to learn more about these attractions.
Last year, the National Heritage Board`s six museums attracted more than 1.3 million visitors, of which, 157,000 of them were students and children.
The book will be available in all major bookstores and at the National Heritage Board`s museum shops, at the price of S$15.
