Bandar Seri Begawan - The Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Hj Ahmad bin Hj Jumat, through the coordination of Brunei Tourism Development Department, will be hosting a two-day visit by Mr Francesco Frangialli, the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).
Mr Frangialli is scheduled to arrive at the Brunei International Airport today from Singapore, according to a press release from Brunei Tourism.
The press release said that Mr Frangialli will be making a courtesy call to Pehin Dr Awang Hj Ahmad bin Hj Jumat, Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, and attend a business lunch with members of the Brunei Tourism Board. He also plans to meet with representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Mr Frangialli aims to discuss the future collaboration between Brunei and UNWTO for the development of tourism in Brunei.
Brunei Tourism will be coordinating his visit, which may include visits to see the main tourism attractions in Brunei Darussalam such as the Water Village, Royal Regalia and the popular Proboscis Monkey, according to the press release.
