Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam - In conjunction with Universiti Brunei Darussalam's (UBD) 22nd convocation ceremony, a three-day 'Graduates' Street Festival' was held recently as part of ongoing convocation festival celebrations.
Apart from setting up several booths selling a variety of food and beverages, there were also several activities conducted such as a charity car boot sale and car wash, a flying fox and wall-climbing activities set up by BABA, face-painting activity by the International Students' Club, a Mini Cooper exhibit, horse riding, frisbee demonstration, food bazaar, a stage performance by UBD.fm, a bouncer, fun fair and a street expo by the Students' Associations.
One ofthe more interesting activities that stood out during the course of the day was the horse riding, as visitors had a chance to ride on a horse, that was accompanied by a BEQ Equestrian handler, around the university car park area.
The bouncer certainly proved a popular hit with children as well, as they could be seen playing happily.
The day was not all fun and games though as the charity car boot sale and charity car wash, which was run by members of the Faculty of Science, saw everyone working hard for a good cause.
The flying fox, parkour demonstration and mountain climbing helped complete the day for people looking for an adrenaline-rush activity, which helped complete the successful event.
A full-dress rehearsal for the convocation ceremony will take place today, while the actual ceremony will be held on September 30.
